Jimenez .The most prestigious event in the town where I considered being one of my most unforgettable moments in life because it’s like a dream came true. Before, I’m just an audience who dreamed to be part of the show who ramp at the stage watched by my own fellow Jimeneznon. But it’s my fortune to be given a chance to be one of them. At the start I hesitate because it’s my first time to ramp at the stage crowded by a lot of people, but I changed my mind because I told to myself why not try it? There is nothing to lose of trying right? As long as we enjoy and we love what we do. Someone will say, how came that the Search for Bb. Jimenez 2014 is one of my unforgettable moment if I didn’t made it to the top 5? Well, getting the Crown is not all that matter but what matters most is the learning’s, the experienced, the friendship we build with all the staff and the memories that I will treasured for the rest of my life. Not all of us had given a chance to be part of that prestigious event. So, win or lost that moment will still marked an important part of the piece of my heart and soul. In every competition it is not just the Crown, the medals, or any awards that matters but it is for us how we accept things without any regrets, because we all know within ourselves that we did our best and accept the fact that in every competition from small to the biggest one there will always be a winner and there is always be a loser, Loser in the eyes of everyone but a winner for themselves.

The environment plays a major part in children’s safety, learning and development. Not only the material objects within an environment, but the emotional and social environment accounts also. â€Å"The health and safety of the environment is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of the children and in creating an enabling environment. In an enabling environment, babies and children will feel emotionally safe and secure, and will develop and learn most effectively.† Health and safety is one of the most important factors to consider when a practitioner provides an appropriate environment for learning and development. All staffs should have a responsibility for ensuring health and safety in their environment at all time. All staffs should meet minimum requirements for space within the room environments and staffs ratios. â€Å"These requirements will initially be calculated by ofsted when the setting is first registered, and they will provide a maximum number of children allowed in setting at any one time. This will also be broken down into how many children can be present in any one room at one time, depending on the age of the children.† â€Å"Children learn and develop well in enabling environment, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners and parents and carers† (EY – Development Matters Document) Meeting staff ratios is important because this ensuring the safety of the children by making sure children can be safety supervised whilst in their environment. â€Å"Failure to meet these ratios could cause accidents or injuries, as staff members would find it difficult to care for and surprise a larger number of children. â€Å" â€Å"Children from birth to two years require 3.5m ² space per child, at least half of the remaining staff members must be qualified to at least a recognised level two child care qualification. Child aged two to three years old require 2.5m ² space per child, at least one practitioner must be qualified to level three. Evaluate the effectiveness of the environment in meeting children’s individual needs. Every setting should work closely with parents and multi-agencies. All setting should be aware of the support and services that other agencies provide, practitioners will support parents/carers to access these services. As a practitioner I should know that whenever I prepare environment for children or young people, I must know it’s important to consider their age and stage of development. I also need to ensure that the experiences and play opportunities offered carer the areas of development outlined in the EYFS. I also need to consider whether the environment meets the needs of the individual children. I should know children develop at different rates. As a practitioner I should know that some children will need more challenging activities while others may need a different type of activity or different resources. I should observe individual children to see how they engage with the environment will help me to plan appropriately. The most important activities during the day, such as playing, eating, sleeping, washing hands and going to the bathroom. â€Å"Children need to explore equipment and learn basic knowledge through direct experience†. Children with disabilities should be given the opportunity to take risks in their own play. As for with other children this will enable them to develop their self-esteem and confidence. â€Å"It is often difficult for parents to allow children with physical disabilities or medical conditions, such as epilepsy, to engage in physical play or ‘rough and tumble’ activities for fear of injury or seizure. They may therefore need reassurance to allow their children to participate.† â€Å"The emotional environment extends further than the furniture and resources contained within a space, and looks at feelings and emotions of the children within the learning environment†. The indoor environment have an immediate effect for children, this is when they will spend a large amount of their time. â€Å"The indoor environment should support the many different types of play that will support children’s learning and development†. â€Å"The EY values children’s independence and encourages child-initiated play and active learning. This needs to be reflected in the environment by organising toys and resources at child height to encourage children to access resources they wish to explore†. â€Å"The outdoor environment holds equal value to the indoor environment and provides many opportunities for learning and development. The outdoor environment provides a new context for learning to take place within and provides new opportunities†.

Boewulf The section entitled "Further Celebration at Heorot" opens after Boewulf has slain Grendel's mother. This becomes acceptable adult behavior when you realize that Grendel and his mother are both monsters from the same evil metal. Beowulf has returned to King Hrothgar's beautiful Heorot Hall to celebrate his victory over evil Grendel. Beowulf's boasts illuminate his heroic deeds. His crowing declares the mead hall now safe for all the thanes to drink in once again. Hrothgar, the honorable king of the Danes, is grateful for the monster's slaughter that Beowulf has done but is also reflective. Drawing on the experiences of a long life, he confides in Beowulf that he should not be quite so full of himself. He states: "Keep yourself against that wickedness, beloved Beowulf, best of men, and choose better-eternal gains. Have no care for pride, great warrior. Now for a time there is glory in your might: yet soon it shall be that sickness or sword will diminish your strength, or fire's fangs, or flood's surge, or sword's swing, or spear's flight, or appalling age; brightness of eyes will fail and glow dark; then it shall be that death will overcome you, warrior." Hrothgar is a wise and noble king. He is much older than Beowulf and sees much of his former self in the young warrior. Having lived and learned many lessons from the thousands of experiences that Beowulf has yet to face, with great affection for Hygelac's thane, Hrothgar tries to use his wisdom to help and Beowulf on the difficult road ahead. To illustrate his point, Hrothgar recounts the story of Heremod, a miserably notorious king, who stayed from the codes and procedures of that warrior caste. The evil one's main failure was a lack of respect for his people. As Hrothgar explains, "He grew great, not for their joy, but for their slaughter." Not only did Heremod fail to share a portion of the wealth and power that God has given him with his loyal retainers. he performed the most heinous of crimes, the killing of his own clansman. In the end, this king, having failed to live a just life, had few friends and died unhappy. Then his people, without longing for their departed king, advanced someone else to the office. Beowulf does not have any fear that Hrothgar's vision is in his future. He is confident of his amazing courage. His states, "Sometimes fate can save the undoomed man if his courage is good.

The Glamorization of Heroin Celebrities and popular culture in society have glamorized the deadly drug heroin today. The status of heroin in America today is that the drug is "in." Advertisements in magazines and television are displaying gaunt, extremely thin, glassy-eyed, pale faced models. This look of death is often found in Calvin Klein ads or even in Packard-Bell commercials. For over three decades now, powerful role models from music to movies have taken to heroin like pigs take to slop. The drug continues to be portrayed in a favorable light by the fashion, music, and entertainment industries. Mixed messages about heroin are everywhere from raccoon eyed models to songs such as "Heroin Girl" by Everclear. Rock musicians have created and celebrated a culture of heroin, and some have become role models in their death. The use of heroin is increasing in almost every part of the United States. All age groups are all over the drug, including high school and middle school students. What doesn't help is that the availability of heroin has increased as well. New sources and networks of distribution have been reported. The comeback of heroin is not only apparent in the inner cities; it has been making its way to suburban life as well. Another way to tell that the use of heroin is on the rise is by the number of emergency room visits that deal with heroin users. In 1990 there was 33,000 emergency department visits nationally where heroin use was involved. By the year 1995 the number had more than doubled to 76,000. In the mid-1980's about ten percent of patient population was identified as being IV drug users. Now, the number is up to about twenty percent. It is usually defined as pertaining to riches, luxurious possessions, and an abundance of things of value in general. But to some, it can also mean having a great amount of the things that are considered more important than materialistic assets such as family, friendships, wisdom, health, love, etc.What is the true definition of wealth and does it only relate to things that are great in cash value? Most of today’s official definitions of wealth in dictionaries, glossaries, and thesauruses define wealth as an abundance of valuable possessions or money. There are trillions of advertisements advising people how to obtain it in how-to books, videos, commercials, and step by step guides. Who’s to say that the one who doesn’t have all the materialistic possessions isn’t already w ealthy?People all over the world are striving day to day to have the finer things in life and live the common dream such as a white collar career, luxury vehicles, white picket fence, and the suburban home. The typical classifications of wealth are insufficient and have been misleading people for generations. As a result, people thrive, fight, steal, and kill just to have what is considered the better quality of things in life for their selves and their families. Society must understand that true fortune and prosperity does not come in the form of assets.It cannot be worn around one’s neck, a check cannot be written for it, nor can it be direct deposited. Valuable possessions are things that only bring happiness temporarily and it does not take long before a person becomes bored with it. The tainted and inadequate description of wealth not only misleads but causes one to be prejudice against people who are considered poor. A person is not poor because they lack things of sign ificant value or because their life does not revolve around money.The one who has everything their superficial heart can desire but no one to share it with is the one who is, in fact, poor. Poor just simply means a lacking and official definitions should not state of what the lacking is. Money is the least of what a person can be poor at because even a rich individual can be poor at something. Rich is the one who is plentiful in knowledge and wisdom. How dare someone be prejudice against people who have an inadequate supply of clean water, food, clothing, education, and healthcare?Rich is the person who is still bountiful in faith through strife. Financial income is not the only important factor of wealth or poverty. There are many definitions of being either poor or wealthy. The cash value of something is not what makes it beautiful. The best things in life are completely free such as falling in love, giving birth, and enjoying the beautiful green nature around us. Poor does not ne cessarily mean you cannot enjoy life to the fullest. There are so many individuals who have nothing materialistically but are still content with life because they have each other.True wealth is an abundance of what is important to someone such as what makes them happy. It is not always necessarily money, jewels, and cars. A person living in what is considered poverty can be rich spiritually and family-wise. There is no one definition as to what makes a person poor or wealthy. The definition of wealth is not just having plenty of money and the definition of being poor is not just having a lack of it. It only depends on having abundance or lack of what is important to someone as an individual and not based on what society thinks someone should have.
